All That Remains

This Rabbit skull came from a friend in Okanowgan WA. She was selling a few of her processed finds to fundraise building costs to recover from the 2021 wildfire season. She lost an outbuilding that year. She is one of my greatest resources for odds and ends I can't always find for myself. This is one of the few pieces Ive done lately that I did not process the remains myself. It felt good to be able to support a fellow vulture during a rough Artists support artists.

I adore this frame. It can be hung up, or it free stands for shelf or desk display. Options abound. The stark contrast of the matte black skull paired with lovely aged paper ephemera really sings to my personal style. This one is hard to let go.
