Old Growth Gold Linocut Print

Finding a luscious flush of Golden Chanterelles trailing through the soft duff of an old growth forest is a type of magic words do no justice for. This print is a nod to one of my most incredible mushroom picking days with a wonderful friend.

Linoleum Prints are an ages old art form that involves carving away material to create negative space. When complete, ink is hand rolled onto the carved block and paper is pressed onto the block. Each one is printed by hand individually over a span of hours. As these are printed by hand some variances may be present. Patchy sections, slightly off center alignments, and ink bleeds are some of the unique aspects of these hand printed offerings.
